This is a very
easy tutorial for making rug tubes! You can make these rugs
in all colors so they will be ready for use in your Paint Shop projects.

Paint Shop Pro 8
Eye Candy 3 or
Eye Candy 4000
Fantastic
Machine's Paint Engine.
***When installing Paint Engine there is a file that needs to be
copied into your
Windows directory for the "presets" to work. Make sure
Paint Shop is closed
when you do this. In the zip, select the "fmachine.ini"
file and extract it to
C:/WINDOWS. Then open Paint Shop and you should see your presets
when you use Paint Engine.***
Lets
get started! =)
First begin
by opening a new 500 x 200 transparent canvas .
Using your Selection tool ,
settings of ..
Selection type "Ellipse", Mode "Replace", Feather
"0", Antialias, "checked",
start at the center of your image and draw a large ellipse.

While
still selected click on your Flood Fill tool
and fill your image with
your rug color. I used #6347DB. Go to Selections/Select None.

Go
to Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy3 or Eye Candy 4000/Jiggle
and use these settings ...
Here's what you should have
now.
Next we are
going to apply an effect in Paint Engine that looks like a hooked
rug.
Go to Effects/Plugins/Fantastic Machines/Paint Engine and use these
settings ...

Then go to
Adjust/Sharpeness/Sharpen.
That's
all there is to it! Anytime you use these rugs you can use your
Deform Tool
to make them bigger or flatter depending on the scene you are creating.
Below is a screen shot of the deformation tool applied to make the
rug flatter.
Here are some
examples of this rug in different colors.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial!
